Gettle Incorporated partnered with general contractor, Southway Builders, Baltimore, MD, on this two-story, 65,000SF office building and training center.

Open Works provides a co-working environment with affordable working space, equipment and tools for creative professionals to bring their ideas to life. This facility includes 12 training classrooms including textiles, digital printing, metal fabrication, a wood shop, a technology lab and more.

This plan spec project came in under budget and on schedule as a result of all involved subcontractors keeping the lines of communication open during design changes, and overcoming weather challenges.

Features of this project include:

• 1000 amp main distribution panel fed from BG&E specified current transformer (CT) cabinet.
• LED lighting package from One Source Associates, Inc., including numerous types of fixtures.
• Silent Knight fire alarm system.
• Exterior pole lights with specialty devices to plug equipment into for any outdoor event.
